tires help with 19x8.5

just bought a square set up 19x8.5 +38 for my sedan. I know tires size I can use is 245/40r19 but are there any other sizes I can use without triggering the vdc or affecting the awd system. did a lot of searching but still drawing a blank. I am lowered on Tein H Tech springs for the 07-08 sedans. Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

Here is some info posted by blnewt which I copied to a text file on my desktop. I refer to it constantly!
It's the variance in tire diameter front to back, there's plenty of staggered tires that will work but they need to be under 1% diameter variance, and the closer to zero the better
FWIW Here's the best tire combos I'd recommend for 18s/19s/20s, then pick proper wheel widths/offsets to get them to fit~
18s
235/45 & 265/40 (0.07%)
245/45 & 275/40 -0.07%
255/45 & 285/40 -0.22%

19s
235/40 & 265/35 -0.37%
235/40 & 275/35 0.67%
245/40 & 275/35 -0.52%
245/40 & 285/35 0.51%

20s
235/35 & 275/30 0.07%
245/35 & 285/30 -0.07%

This calculator should be used when trying new setups~

The charts posted above are good combos if you want to eventually get staggered width wheels.

For running a square setup on 19x8.5s the widest tires I'd recommend would be 255s, a 255/40/19 will be about 1/3" taller or a bit over 1% different from the OEM diameter for your car. For a square setup being a bit over 1% is ok. A 255/35/19 will be about 3/4" shorter and about 2.6 % different from oem, this may be a bit much, but ??? If you decide to run a staggered combo down the road you really need to be under 1% difference from front to back.

what size would give a minimal stretch but functional. I am trying to keep it square for now for tire rotations and what not.

225/45/19 would be a good fit, that's the factory size on the front OEM coupe sport wheels (19x8.5)

Looks nice and being able to do a full 4 wheel rotation will be a good plan!
