A prospective owner

Hi, I'm going to purchase the g37x tommorow from private party. 09 with 95k miles for $8.5k.

I saw a blue smoke on the cold start and also it had an accident on driver side (already fixed). He had replaced front bumper/light/fender and hoods. He told me there was no frame damage. If I bring it to dealer, would they do a service thoroughly? or just bring it to local shop to get state inspected and go over it?

The seller is a mechanic, but I can't fully trust his word...

Thanks

It's always a safe thing to take it to a Infiniti dealership to get a full and detailed inspection before you buy it.

Agreed, ask for a pre-purchase inspection from the Infiniti dealer. It costs about $120 but they will look at it from top to bottom. I believe it also covers state inspection since they check a lot of the same things.
