New Owner of 2011 G37S Sedan
New Owner of 2011 G37S Sedan
Well, I decided awhile back that a new (to me) car was going to be a reward to myself for spending some serious hours with nose to grind stone. Not many cars really piqued my interest, but a G37 was one of them. Truth be told, I wanted a 370Z, but I'm just not at a point in my life where I can justify a 2 seater.
Anyway, after a bit of searching I found this specimen. Exactly the color and feature combo I wanted. Just brought her home a little while ago.
2011 G37S Sedan with 65k on the clock. Runs and drives great, just has a few minor issues I will be correcting very soon.
Some terrible pictures:

Semi-immediate plans include:
-Window Tint
-New Tires
-Wet Sand and Clear Coat Headlights (will be paying a pro)
-Wash, Claybar, Wax
-Full interior Clean/Detail
-Coilovers, Camber kits, and Hotchkis Sways
-Freshen up the brakes
-Black out grill, window trim, and bottom swoopy area on rear bumper.
-Debadge (Previous owner started the process) and get rid cheesy pinstripe with tiny inline infiniti logos
-Lighting upgrades
-Throw in a subwoofer or two
After that I will just drive it for awhile. Thanks for looking!

Nice score Irish! Looks like a nice one for sure. Welcome to the site and for your window trim here's a DIY that might be of interest~ https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-g-sedans.html
An update:
-Got Windows tinted - Looks great!
-New Tires - Sumitomo HTR A/S P02 (Not the best tires I know, but since I can't decide what direction I want to take with aftermarket wheels they will do for now.)
-Ordered Whiteline Diff bushings (The factory liquid filled bushing is toast. These already arrived. Hopefully I can install them tomorrow!)
-Ordered Weathertech Ventshades in dark smoke.
-Ordered Tein Flex Z Coilovers (Sadly backordered till October. Oh well, hopefully good things will come to those who wait...)
-Ordered New Rear Rotors and Pads
And a question for anyone. Both USB audio and Bluetooth audio have issues (different).
USB sounds like a skipping cd. Everything else functions - Controls, Track Listing, etc. But the sound is terrible.
Bluetooth sounds great but disconnects randomly, immediately reconnects, and requires me to hit play again. Controls seem to always work, but track listing & info is hit or miss. Sometimes it displays everything. Sometimes it only displays some of the info, and it usually only displays the info for whatever the first track I play is, and then that stays for all future songs. At least until it disconnects & reconnects, and then the current info is displayed.
This is using an iPhone 6 Plus. Any ideas?

Nice list you're putting together, look forward to the new look after your coilover install. Can't help w/ the bluetooth/USB, I'm too low tech w/ that stuff, lol. FWIW, you could do much worse than Sumitomos, not a bad choice for A/S, and the HTRZ-III are a great summer tire for the price.

Congrats on the G! That's a very beautiful car and pretty rare one too being a 6mt sedan.
Can't really help with the tech issue but for me, I have only had the "not certified" notification but that's probably due to the cable. I have the same issue with Bluetooth however. This is on and iPhone 6.
