Just got a '12 G sedan- how can I tell if it is an le?
I just bought a 2012 g37 - it has the le 19" 9 spoke dark wheels, aluminum pedals, 7 speed AT with paddle shifters, but a chrome front grill rather than a black one. How can I tell if it is an le or just a sport appearance packaged Journey? I have attached pics of it from the dealer I bought it from.
Welcome to the site, nice looking G there. It appears that those are 18" wheels, the clearance at the barrel looks a bit too tight for 19s but it could just be how the pic looks.
You do have a true Sport though rather than just a sport appearance package, the big Akebono brakes are the giveaway.
Here's the true LE specs, so not having the black grill would be a clue that just the wheels have been changed, or the grill may have been damaged and replaced w/ a chrome one perhaps???

Maybe have a dealer run the VIN #, that may specify if it indeed is an LE.

Well mine has all the options listed on there as far as I can tell - I don't know what the unique front fascia or head lights would look like, and don't know how to see if it has a VLSD. Perhaps it is an le and just weirdly lacks the black grille. Too bad because the blacked out grill looks so nice I might have to either paint it or order one. I will probably have a dealer check the VIN since i need to get a 3rd key for it.

Well I dropped by the dealer to get a quote on a 3rd key and had them run the vin - good news, its a limited edition. Now I just need to pony up for the black grille so it will look perfect... and debadge... then figure out how to put a supercharger in without the wife noticing.
