Muffler upgrade for 2013 G37x Sedan

Hi guys this is my first post on this forum and I just got my first Infiniti a few months back. I wanted to make my car sound louder and a muffler delete was one option but i was choosing not to go that route. Performance is not much of a priority for me as of now. I was wondering what muffler I could replace my stock ones with for a relatively low price (not a ton of cash for a full CBE). I want to make my exhaust sound a bit louder and deeper. I haven't heard a muffler delete in person but that is one option i have in mind even though i'm shying away from it. I was looking online for mufflers and I came across a Skunk2 muffler. Anyone have any experience with this one on a G? Suggestions would be appreciated for which mufflers I could put on my car in this case. Again, I'm not looking for a full exhaust and looking to spend around $250. Thank you!

Welcome to the forum and nice sedan you scored. Here's a few cheap Catbacks I was able to find with a quick search. I can't vouche for the name brands but the reviews of the seller on ebay seem good.

Otherwise search the classifieds section bc mufflers esp for sedans pop up A LOT.

Maybe save up a little more and get these for $400 shipped...

i'm really happy with my Beluga axleback - nice deep tone, a bit louder but no rasp and not obnoxious, and saves some weight over the extremely heavy factory rear muffler.

Beluga Racing Axle Back Axleback Exhaust for Infiniti G37 Q60 2008 2016 3 7L | eBay

pretty sure i "made an offer" of $250 and got it for that price.

Any clips that you can take? Or some that are online which people have only installed the axle back.

I wish beluga made a canister style for the sedan. It is highly annoying that the sedans only have an option for a $600+ axle back. Someone needs to make a bolt on that is a simply canister style with nice 4" tips. Someone commission a chinese company to do this asap! Then I can get somewhat of an exhaust AND my sways at the same time! haha

here's a video (not my car) - skip to 7:00 for soundclips, if you don't want to watch it being unboxed ....

Trying to get a buddy of mine to do this to his G37, does it have a lot of drone at cruising speeds?
