Hello all. Long time lurker here (well 6 months I suppose can be considered a long time to lurk) . After 6 months of scouting, research, and haggling with different used car lots and some private sellers. I finally decided to bite the bullet and go into a certified infiniti dealership. My trials and tribulations with used car salesmen have molded me into a haggling machine that feels no remorse (or shame) when it comes to getting a deal. Finally after all this time, I brought home the car ive been fighting for. G37x. This is actually my first car that either wasnt a hand-me-down or some run down junker that I needed to get from point a to b and look crappy while doing so.

I would like to thank you guys for having such an awesome community and such a wealth of QnA that it made researching the g37 so much easier. At one point, I was teaching the sales rep things about it. This is all thanks to you guys. (Sorry I dont remember specific names but I hope that if you contributed in some way that this heartfelt gratitude reaches you)

Welcome to the forum and on finally becoming an official G owner! Black on black is always a gorgeous combination to choose for any car but especially on the G.

I dont plan on modding atm but I have a feeling that will change the moment I start seeing the potential for it. haha Im sure you guys will be a "terrible" influence on me when it comes to that.

From a 95 Grand Marquis to 2013 G37x. For some reason, I think I wont have too much trouble getting used to it. haha

BTW. Newt, im pretty sure ive gotten some useful information from your replies (to other people ofc) in past posts. So thanks a bunch.

 

Blnewt is probably the best guy on this forum especially when it comes to helping people and spreading his insane amount of knowledge. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say EVERYONE on this forum has learned something from him at least once!

Today was a pretty crappy weather day. I have a couple pics (Have to edit out the Plates) that arent that great but ill upload within the next few minutes. However, im hoping to get some tomorrow

And everyone who owns and Infiniti loves the growl from the OEM exhaust. IMO Infiniti has the best stock exhaust systems when it comes to the sound!

Not sure if I said it yet, but if I was to mod/change anything on this beauty. it would be the rims and exhaust. Although not sure when the urge will bite me or really where to start/shop for those kinds of things. As for the meetup, thats pretty awesome actually. Ill have to look into the date and see if I have anything already planned. If I dont, I may actually attempt it.
