New to the Infiniti Family and Automotive Enthusiasm
Hello, MyG37.com!
After a long period of careful deliberation, I have finally come into ownership of a 2010 G37 sport sedan. It's just the 7 speed auto (no clutch cool-factor here), but I still love it.
I'm a pretty young guy and this is my second car. Coming from a third-hand 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, it is a good feeling to have a car that is as nice as this.
I've been lurking on here and G35Driver for quite some time and I decided since I finally own a G that I would make an account. I don't have any experience in any car work at all, but I have recently come to love automotives and driving in general. I probably won't post much, as I prefer to read and learn than run my mouth on something I have no experience in.
Anyway, thank you to all those who contribute to this forum and I look forward to modding and driving as a member of the G community!
Welcome to the forum! Glad that you decided to join us and post. Congratulations on your great looking ride! Do you have any plans on it? Lots of know legible and friendly folks here as well as informative and insightful discussion threads. Be sure to reach out if anything needed!

Thanks! And yes, I do plan on making some slight changes... I'll create a dedicated progression thread when I start work on the car.

a good place to start is learning to do an oil change. i was never a "car guy" either, until i got my first nice one. always liked cars, but never expected to own some of my favorites when i was growing up without a lot of money. you at least have the benefit of Youtube and forums for help. i didn't back in the 90's.

that's probably advice more people should follow , but don't be afraid to ask questions.
LandShark is correct. Start with something simple and work your way up. Make sure you have good tools---no need to run out and buy a huge set. Better to collect what you need as you need it.
