Passenger door problem

I have a 2008 g37s coupe, for some reason my passenger door when closed doesn't align properly with the car there's a little gap from the door jamb looks as if it's not closed all the way when it's locked, the car has never been in a accident, any help will be appreciated thanks!

i've only seen that happen in cars that were in an accident. are you sure it wasn't? it could not have been "reported" as an accident.

As far as I know it wasn't in an accident car fax was clean when I picked it up in November of last year, but that makes sense. I had a problem with the door latch being loose on that side so I tightened it hoping it Would fix the problem but it didn't.
