New to Infiniti and I'm loving it

I just purchased a 2012 Infiniti G37xs and from the second I test drove it I knew this was the car for me. I am a full time college student while also working full time a hour away in the ER at a hospital. This car gives me much better gas mileage and overall much more fun to drive. I'm coming from a 2011 Silverado z71, had a mustang prior to the truck. I wanted a car that could perform I looked at new mustangs, the Nissan 370Z and found this car while looking at STi Subaru and like I said knew this was the car I wanted after driving it. I have a few questions.
1. How well is it in ice and snow
2. What would be a good upgrade for the exhaustNew to Infiniti and I'm loving it-photo81.jpg

Welcome to the site, congrats on your new X
Should perform well in the snow, ice can be a beast for any vehicle but equipped w/ studded snow tires you'll be fine as long as you're experienced in winter driving.
Exhaust, I have the TopSpeed Pro 1 and it's a good option on a budget, mine's been great for about 4 years but I don't live in a bad winter area so YMMV. Choices are a bit limited but there are good ones to choose from.

Welcome!

I've got a Tanabe exhaust and it's a subtle upgrade from stock- just the way I wanted it.

Funny but gas mileage is not normally a positive for the G. But coming from a truck....

Congrats on your new G. This should be a nice way to spend time in your high stress life style (ER and School!). You'll find the car to be ok in the snow but to make it really grip get some snow tires. I had a great success with snows over this past winter. Lot of snow. Good luck and enjoy!

Do you have HFCs on yer G bl? I've been looking into the topspeed and really like the sound and it's price. Just curious how it sounds combined with HFCs since i'll be getting some HFCs installed next week. I don't mind any drone, i just don't want any rasp....

RHFCs would probably be a better combo, I think the rasp will be evident w/ just HFCs.

New to Infiniti and I'm loving it

Thank you everyone for the replies and good info. When purchasing the Infiniti I was also looking at multiple cars including 370z, Audi A4, Subaru STi, CTS, and the G25x after waiting months and testing all I loved the performance and ride of the G37X and waited until a G37x with the sport package showed up only down side was that I had my heart set on black on black and the one I found was the slate blue and light interior its growing on me. I would also like to add led DRLs 3 inch next to the fogs anyone have a good brand and set up?

Here's a DIY that might help

Our previous 07 G35 was a Blue Slate w/ stone interior, it's a nice combo and easier to keep clean compared to our 09 Black G37.
