Please help! - Suspension Upgrade

Hi! I want to lower my car. I am looking forward to buying springs not coils. I've found a couple already and was wondering if anyone is using that setup to express their opinion. I want to lower the car in the point of fender meets wheel, leaving a little gap is acceptable. Basically I want to get a 1" drop or 1-1/2". Not 2". I've found Tein, Ark, Megan Racing. LMK if there is anything good. I want to keep my car's quality great. Please keep in mind this is an 09 G37 sedan with 17" wheels. Thanks and comment below on what you think and feel about.

I'd look into the Tein Basis coilovers, they don't cost a lot more than springs and you can drop them mild and will perform better than a compromised setup of lowering springs running OEM dampers. Here's a couple links to them
TEIN Street Basis Coilover Kit; OEM Front Upper Mount; OEM Rear Upper Mount; Not EDFC Compatable INFINITI G35
