Remove exhaust bolts?

How do I remove 1 of the exhaust bolts? In particular the bolt connecting the stock mid pipe to the muffler.

I messed up and stripped the nut, I then used a grinder to grind off the nut, now I am not sure how to remove the bolt to replace it. Can I grind the head of the bolt off? Do I need a whole new mid pipe?

Yes, I messed up, I realize this.

Doesnt look like it has threads. Cant you just take a tap and hammer and smack it out?

I believe that's a stud not a regular bolt and nut, correct? If so you'll need to drill it out and replace it. It might be easier to just get another mid pipe from a salvage car.

Ok I got it out by beating on it harder. I was held in with rust and those verticle threads.
