Hello, from a new G37x owner
Just bought a 2013 G37x sedan a few days ago. Love this car. Only 20K miles, freshly off a 2 year lease. I'm in the Pittsburgh area and bought the car out of state. Had it inspected by a body shop and mechanic prior to purchase. Couldn't pass it up for $22,400. Premium package and Nav package, black interior. 100% stock.
Only thing it needs at the moment is brake pads. I'm installing Hawk HPS pads this weekend.
Extremely impressed with how this thing runs. Amazing pull and great handling.
This car may bring me back to track days (PDE's) at my local track - Pittsburgh Intl. Race Complex (wwww.pittrace.com). So I'm researching the BBU to the sport package brake system. Nothing decided yet though. It's a daily driver first and occasional track car second.
This car replaces my daily driver 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. So I'm familiar and a fan of Nissan/Infiniti. Ran the wheels off the Altima and about to list it for sale. When I first got into track days in '09 I ran the Altima at PIRC (previously known as BeaveRun) a few times before buying a '95 Trans Am LT1 to run at the track. Did many performance mods/upgrades to the Trans Am to handle the road course, then sold it in 2012. Excited to have a car that I can take on the course again.
Would love to install the rear spoiler and front sport package spoiler but will probably put $$$ into performance mods first (brakes, suspension, tires, etc). It will also be kept very clean and polished. It'll probably look stock but have many upgrades under the skin -- wolf in sheep's clothing.
Anyway, glad to be a part of the community. Looking forward to meeting a few folks and learning more about this car.

X-Factor that seems like a pretty sweet deal you got there. I never priced out a 13' sedan. It took me a long time to find a coupe 6mt rwd. Speaking of BeaveRun, I'll be there on saturday for activities. I'm from around Robinson area so maybe you'll see me once in awhile. White coupe with tint + wraped black roof(need some pictures).
Welcome. I also have a 2013 G37X that we bought new & paid a whole lot more for, so you got a great deal. As soon as we bought ours we set out on a 4400 mile road trip and had its first oil change done at Cochran Infiniti. It was in a temporary building while their new dealership was being built. About 3-4 summers prior we visited Pittsburgh in our old G35X and had its oil changed at another temporary Cochran dealership while its new store was under construction or remodel.
So yeah I look forward to another trip to the 'Burgh and getting the oil changed at a temporary dealership :^)
Have family in Upper St Clair, North Strabane, west towards Weirton, etc. If you ever see a red sedan with Oklahoma tags up there, its gotta be me. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome X-Factor. That seems to be a great price. I recently paid a bit more for a 2011 but CPO and with the Sport package. Even though it's largely aesthetic, I do like the seats and find myself using the paddle shifters more than I thought i would.
Good to see that, given your track experience, you're focusing on the right things first. I've seen way too many guys in 300+ hp GTIs, for example, at the track that have done nothing with brakes, tires or suspension. I had a Miata, Cooper S and M Coupe, each of which were tracked extensively with those improvements done first. They quickly learned that a Miata with 1/2 the HP was faster around the track, especially since you spend more time in the corners than you do on the straights.
I'm in Beaver county, near Cranberry so PittRace/BeaveRun is right in my back yard. I no longer have a dedicated track/fun car but, like you, I'm debating taking the G out... I certainly won't be able to push it as hard as I did those but thinking it would still scratch that "track itch".
