Hey Guys,

Figured i'd say hello since recently joining. I was lurking for a few weeks prior to just researching and reading up on these cars. Couldn't decide which direction to go with; an 11' XS model for significantly more money or an older S model and keep my winter beater for another 2 months(2003 civic 5spd).

Had been looking for a bit, but lined up a few to look at this past Monday and found the one I want and made an agreement with the seller to pick up Saturday.

Its an 08'grey 6spd S model with about 46k miles. Was never modified and owned by a later 20's male for the last 4 years. Seems to be well taken care of mechanically and just had some minor scuffs and a small dent from occasional street parking. It was reflected in the price and wasn't enough to deter me since i plan to use it for commuting a few days a week. Had pretty new brakes and tires as well which was a selling point.

I've owned my fair share of vehicles and had put cars on hold while buying my first place, driving this G37s in 6speed really brought me back to why i love cars. Some previous note worthy vehicles include: 2013 STI sedan, 2008 Tl Type S, 2002 M3, E36 M3's, Jeep Wrangler TJ/YJ and a couple integra models-GSR,LS while i was in college. Also an avid motorcyclist..

Due to snow, postponed until today. Met the owner around noon, had it inspected and everything was good. Drove it home earlier and it was an excellent drive from long island. I think this is going to be a great vehicle for me, all the features and power are excellent. Makes you really appreciate the features and driving experience after putting around in a civic for 6 months.

Going in my garage tomorrow before the storm hits up in New England.


This was my old M3, sold it to a fellow enthusiast and got a text about a month later apologizing followed by a mangled picture of this car missing 2 wheels and rolled over.


This is my 2013 Bmw s1000rr. I ride this more than I drive annually. Do about 7,500 miles a year currently just under 12,000 miles.
