2015 Q60S 6MT Limited - Hi Everybody! (Hi dr nick..)
I had similar quibbles when I purchased my car new in September of 2013. Minor things here and there that I felt should never happen to a new car. The dealer did the best they could to address the issues, but in some cases they would make things worse every time they tried to make something better. An example is they put a nick in the aluminum trim, and put a huge knee indent in my new seat while trying to polish it out. Sure enough, polishing the aluminum changed the color in that spot. I finally got the car to a place that I deemed "acceptable", but certainly not perfect. The moral of the story here is that it's a lot easier to enjoy the car when you take your expectations back a notch and remember there will be small imperfections with any car. I had several myself. Door to fender gaps didn't line up, trim nicked during my first oil change, my license plate was bent in their car wash, my seat was indented, and the list goes on. It took me over a year of owning the car but I am now past these minor issues and much happier.
In the future, I will purchase a car lightly used to receive a discount for the issues that will likely be present, but I never expected to be in a new car.

^^^i certainly understand your logic, but an imprint in your seat is not necessarily comparable to a brand new car that has had every piece of glass replaced. I am genuinely worried that I will experience premature seal related issues that could do major damage to the car and will be hard to notice until it's too late. Sigh
I don't know...I just don't think the moral of the story should be "deal with it".

i wouldn't worry if they replaced every piece of glass with new oem glass and used all the oem spacers and seals.
i'd totally flip a **** if they used generic window moulding and aftermarket glass.
and make sure they redo the tint for you as well
just inspect the car very carefully and take it from there. the more they work on your car, the more frustrated they will get, and frustrated work will just land poorly on yourself.

Also OP hasn't signed onto this forum since last June so chances are he won't read your advice.
