New Owner in Indiana
Hello all,
I am a car noob but am trying to learn more. This is not my first car but it's the first one I have purchased for the performance and creature comforts. I am an IT nerd, and I attribute that to why I haven't really spent much time with cars in the past.
I posted over in the "Buying / Leasing" forum to get some advice on a car I had found. My brother was able to go look at it and was very impressed. The car is a '12 Blue Slate G37xS with Technology, Premium, Sport, and Nav. It also has the Interior Accent Package, Illuminated Kick Plates, and Rear Spoiler.
I put a deposit on the car so they would hold it and I go to pick it up next Thursday when I get back in the country.
I am very excited and looking forward to being a part of the awesome G family. I probably won't be modding too much in the near future, but I wouldn't say I'm against it. I just don't have the time right now to do much of that. Most of my free time is spent learning the new cyber threats and playing with my home network.
There are a couple of pics that I have from the dealership, but I will take some of my own when I get the car and will post them here. Ciao!

Took this baby home yesterday. Got to drive her for 200+ miles home...and that was fun. This thing is faster than I would have thought, but coming from a Mazda6, Camry, and Mazda CX-7, that's not so surprising. :P Either way, I love her to death. I only took a few pics today, but I will post a couple.

Thanks.
Thanks. Yea, I like the look and color combo as well. Love all the "little" features that work so well. For instance, the Adaptive Cruise Control. Heard someone complaining about it and saying how it's not that cool anyway. Maybe their car was just a little messed up because it works like a charm on my car and I absolutely love it. The driver's seat has a little wear on it, but that's to be expected on a used car. Pretty awesome.
