New G37S owner in SoCal

I just want to say hello and thanks in advance as this forum has provided a wealth of knowledge about this car (I lurked this forum for a bit ).

That being said, I decided it was time for an upgrade as I was driving a 2000 nissan sentra 5MT with 200k miles and wanted a car I deserved (not to mention finally being able to smoke my cocky friend's G6 ). It was between the G and the Acura TL type S. Test drove them both and it was no contest, except in the looks (Pre-2009 TL has a timeless design) and handling department imo.

I did not realize how hard it would be to find a G37 sedan with a manual transmission, but I ended up finding a Graphite 2012 with 31k miles for 26K. I have had this car for about 2 months now and I can honestly say that I am a very VERY happy G owner. I will probably do some light modding (oil cooler, csf radiator/silicone hoses, ss brake lines, etc...) as time passes by but for now I'm still a noob lol. I plan on driving this car to the ground.

Great intro!
Welcome to the site and glad you found exactly what you wanted
You'll have no trouble shutting up your G6 buddy now, lol.

Thanks blnewt!

The ironic thing about my G6 buddy is that I was always able to afford more car than him, it just wasn't a priority at the time (starting my retirement account was lol) and still isn't.

It took a bit to get adjusted to the clutch feel as it would turn off on me but now that I'm used to it, oh baby
