new guy from the Netherlands

What's up guys, thought I'd sign up here! I'm from the Netherlands, but i've always had a preference for american/rare cars. 5 Ford Probes and 3 mustangs later, I ended up with a '08 G37s last week!

I owned a '03 Terminator Cobra (only one in the country) and some guy came up to me saying he'd always wanted one and offered good money, so I made a deal and quickly started looking for a replacement.

Found this G37s with 34k miles. Originally sold in Houston TX. Pretty rare, haven't been able to find any other 6mt in Europe for sale.

So far I really like it! Perfect combination of sport and comfort, daily drivable. Doesn't plot new and exciting ways to kill me, like the Cobra did.

See you around!

Nice intro Dutchy, glad you found us, Bet that G turns lots of heads over there, looks like a clean one too!

Spent a couple years in Holland as a toddler back in the early 60s, all I remember was Madurodam, coolest thing a little kid could ever see

Welcome to the site and enjoy your unique ride.

Thanks guys!

The G37, much like the terminator, was brought by an American working in Europe. I have the original window sticker too.

As google indexed the license plate on the picture and I did a Google search for it, I found this old thread. Since 08-2015 I'm the owner of this car. Since you bought it on 2014 you where tired of it quite fast :-)
it still looks as pretty now as it did in 2015 :-)

Funny, I'm also Dutch and basically into Mustangs until I ran into this G37S. The G37S a totally different animal from my 2 1968 Mustang California Specials GT/CS. The G37S obviously has way better performance and handling capabilities than the old technology Mustangs. I'll give a plus to the Style of the Mustang over the G37S. Performance and creature comforts definitely goes to the G37S. However, for now, my back problems will limit me to driving the automatic Mustangs instead.
