G37x coupe. Not new to Nissan....NX240, Rogue. Traded a five year old Genesis 3.8GT coupe. The g37 is a nice enough car but the lighted door sills is a bit cheesy.

Me too, I like the lighted door sills, don't see any problem with it.

 

K+N air filter(done)
Metal pedal covers(done)
CF fender flares(pending)
Brake pad upgrade(pending)
Led lighting(partially completed)
Less restrictive exhaust(looking around).....The Genesis GC was so sweeet!!
Maybe some tinting......the rules are so confusing here in Iowa.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about your horrible door sills. Swap them with someone who has the regular non illuminated ones who'd love to have the ones that are illuminated and make a few bucks in the process.

 

 

You're certainly welcome to your opinion, but luxury car makes are going beyond the lighted door sills. That says to me they consider it a nice trend. The new Escalade has a logo light that turns on the ground as you approach the truck. I haven't seen it, but MB has a similar light from, I think, the mirror on the GL.

Huh I kind of like the lighted door sills. How do you like going from a Gen Coupe to the G37? My wife has a 2011 Gen Coupe Base Turbo and it's a decent car for the money. Now the new Gen Goupes are way over priced.
