2 Days New 2012 Moonlight white g37s coupe

6 speed manual!!
Hello just purchased my G 2 days ago. A little bit about myself, I actually came from an s2000(s2ki) and loved the s2000. Unfortunately I totaled it one night, smashed into a cement pole , broke three ribs and etc. was in the hospital for 2 months.

Okay enough with that I wanted a more luxurious sporty type of car picked up this g and I'm loving it, a lot of power a lot of people say you feel the weight of the car but to me coming from an S2k I don't think it's that bad. Only thing that bothers me is getting used to the clutch. And second gear being so notchy. Feels like u can't bang 1st to 2nd straight down, and have to kind of find second gear? It's prob just a getting used to feeling since my s2000 had SUPER short throws and I had a weighted and smaller shift ****.

Plan to tint possibly all 5 windows..(lives in the bay , California), get an intake either takeda or stillen or even injen? Haven't done enough research, but HKS exhaust just like my s2 had, I also plan to change the rear bumper to IPL not too sure bout the front. Also the iron man headlights are grabbing my attention , as well as the opaque gtr style tail lights ! Last, rims avant garde m310?

WHO GOT THE HOOK UPS!?
My car is a 2012 g37s coupe 6spd with 18k ! I'll post pics tm!

Nice intro, welcome to the site & congrats on your new coupe. There's a clutch spring DIY mod that may be of help, having a AT I can't be much help there
Sry to hear about the S2k, those cars are a blast, tough way to take it out

Sounds like some nice plans, keep us posted.

I had a 2007 s2k. No other car will ever match that gearbox. What a great car. Anyways, I also have a 6mt and hated the 1-2 shift. Do a search for the rjm performance clutch pedal. Totally resolved the notchy feeling and actually made the car fun to drive. It was such a pain and horrible experience with the stock pedal. Should've came from the factory with the rjm clutch pedal.

Thanks guys! will the RJM pedal just do it? Because i didnt even know about that, i was honestly looking at the TWM Short shifter and a smaller weighted shift ****? OR should i just do ALL THAT? haha i do miss the s2k clutch and gearbox.. it was PERFECT.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the forum. 90% of people here are gonna stay go with the stillen intake. And yes, nobody likes the clutch. Search around most day RMJ is the way to go... The Jsolo spring is a good and super cheap temp fix.

You need a few things, first the rjm clutch pedal, then a fast intentions exhaust. You can thank me later as these are imo the 2 best products for our cars.
