I love the tanabe sound but it is about the same loudness as stock just deeper. I would suggest a quality set of high flow cats such as Berk HFCs. They will maintain the exhaust note but increase the loudness to a nice level. Search youtube there is a few vids of this combo on our cars.

Will it be at your Maryland location? What mods are you doing R&D for?

Welcome to the forum Mike. Glad to to see that your company has things in development for the G37 platform. However all commercial promotion, solicitation, or advertising on our forum is limited to sponsoring vendors only. Otherwise it's not fair to our forum sponsors who are paying for that privilege.

If you have interest in becoming a sponsoring vendor, contact the advertising guys at Internet Brands. Thanks and good luck with the projects you have in the pipeline.

No trouble at all Mike! Glad to have you here. I'd love for more members who work in the aftermarket industry for our community here to give guidance, advice, assistance and technical expertise to our folks.

We can always use more voices to answer questions about wheel offset to get that perfect stance, which intake is the best, and what test pipes are the loudest and won't trigger a MIL.

To each their own. I agree that making changes isn't for everyone, and new members should not expect to get a "OEM Like" ride or smoothness thereafter. There is a reason that Infiniti set the cars up the way they did... ride quality, cabin noise, NVH etc. are all very important to a "Luxury" auto brand.

Ride and aesthetics are very subjective and I caution everyone not to just do what other people like. On the flip side, many of us are chasing the same unicorn... power, handling, and that little bit of sports car harshness that we remember from cars past, or always wanted to have in our youth.

Luckily almost everything can be reversed, and you are very likely to find someone on this forum that will gladly take your lightly used parts off your hands!

Happy Modding
