I love the tanabe sound but it is about the same loudness as stock just deeper. I would suggest a quality set of high flow cats such as Berk HFCs. They will maintain the exhaust note but increase the loudness to a nice level. Search youtube there is a few vids of this combo on our cars.

We are almost finished in the R&D stages of an intake manifold that we are fabricating for the VQ37 that is designed to support up to 2500+hp at over 100 PSI. That being said, we are looking for willing volunteers to allow us to use their G37 for R&D for future upgrades and are offering a 50% discount for allowing us to use their car. We can always use more voices to answer questions about wheel offset to get that perfect stance, which intake is the best, and what test pipes are the loudest and won't trigger a MIL.

Just a tip.. I ended up going through 3 sets of suspension and wheels a mild exhaust and although it performed nice i was never as comfortable or as satisfied as ive been now since im back to the oem shocks exhuast and lowering springs. Yes the car doesnt look as good but it just feels so much better in everyway

Ride and aesthetics are very subjective and I caution everyone not to just do what other people like. On the flip side, many of us are chasing the same unicorn... power, handling, and that little bit of sports car harshness that we remember from cars past, or always wanted to have in our youth.
Luckily almost everything can be reversed, and you are very likely to find someone on this forum that will gladly take your lightly used parts off your hands!
