Going to buy a G37 Questions

I know nothing on those cars. All I know is I drove one at the dealership I work at and I'm sold. I'm gonna be trading in my 2004 Mustang GT for one. One of my first questions is I plan on running nitrous on the G37 which is my current setup on my GT. I was told by NX that it will handle a 100 shot Max which is fine with me. Does anyone do custom email tunes for the G37s using SCT? I'd hate to have to run it to the dyno just to have some timing pulled for the spray. Also what other performance parts are worth it for those cars? Intakes, Headers, etc? I have a few in mind I'm going to see tomorrow, Can't wait....

Given your experience with domestic American muscle, you should know up front that the G37 does not respond to imports the same way the Mustang will. The G37 is high revving, (relatively) small displacement.

Every bolt on and a tune will net you maybe 40 extra horsepower at the wheels. Uprev is the generally accepted tuner for the G37, and yes, they do email tunes.

You don't see many guys running nitrous in these cars, I've only seen one or two here on the forum, but they exist. The high revving nature of this car makes it particularly suited to turbo or supercharging, so you may want to look in to that if you really want power gains. Nitrous tends to blow up engines faster than anything else.

Welcome to the forum, take a look around and sift through some old threads as you research power mods. I can almost guarantee that any power mod you can possibly think of has been tried and discussed.
