New G Owner in WI

Hey everyone,

I just joined the G family, picking up a 2009 G37x sedan. I had been looking for about 6 months, and was pretty happy to find one so clean with only 36k miles.

As of now, I'm planning on tints, black wheels for the summer months (I'll throw the stocks back on for the stupid Wisconsin winters), blacking out the grill/emblems, and debadging the rear G37x and Infiniti emblems (leaving Mt. Fuji). I'd like to do vinyl over the chrome window trim, as the wheels and rest of the trim would be black. I'd like the 3M silver vinyl, but I think black would be safer as the silver just won't perfectly match the car. I'm sure I'll end up getting a new exhaust and intake, but that's later on.

So basically I have been diagnosed with the G bug. I'm happy to be part of the group, and I hope I can learn a thing or two from you more experienced owners.

Thanks!

Nice find! Congrats on the new G and welcome to the site. The window trim DIY is pretty easy and definitely easy on the budget. Look forward to pics along the way. Here's the DIY if you haven't seen it~
