Hi all,
I am a new owner of a 2010 G37 base model. I currently drive a 2008 saab turbo x sport combi, 6 speed. I've had it for 2.5 years, and since I've spent a lot of money modding it. The car is very unreliable, but fun to drive. It's pushing over 350HP.
I need something that is reliable and will release the Saab of daily driver duties. The G37 seems to have very positive reliability reviews.
I wasn't going to spend any money on modding it, but who knows. I like the 19" rim moderate drop look for summer.
Anyway, some pics of my Saab, I am picking up the G37 later on tonight and will post side by side pics then.

 

Hey man welcome the forum is VERY helpful, And will help you spend $$$ LOL. cant wait to see the pics of the G. BTW I feel yea on the Saab not being reliable. Wifey had a 93
2.0T( Big T) and the thing was in the shop more that she drove it. It had a horrible misfire the dealer gave up on and took the car back :/.

 

Yeah, I've spent $7k in repairs since November last year on the Saab. The XWD still has a problem....

I have a question, does the base mode G37 have LSD in the rear?

No, only the Sport package has the LSD.

 

You kept your Saab in excellent condition. How did you manage to keep the car with no swirls?

 

Thanks, I obsess over cars, mechanically mostly.
The pictures were taken after a 3 step detail job.

Digging the color. And did you detail your car yourself? If you have any pointers for maintaining a black car, I'm open for any suggestions. lol
