were you able to get the airbag unit on the steering wheel badged as a nissan as well?? if i've asksed infiniti about that and they said it cant be done due to safety reasons

 

I think the spacer was a great mod for the DE engines iirc. Doesn't do anything got the revups though. So that seems like a good next mod for you

It is JDM, therefore it IS a Nissan. He did not do a rebadge, the car was manufactured that way.

Nice set-up. Besides the spacer, you could postpone the headers and go for new spark plugs, install new pulleys and then get a tune. A different mod for some rear wheel torque could include upgrading your lower transmission mount. Just ideas.

Is the grounding kit purchased or did you make it?

 

Yep. I have Unorthodox lightweight pulley and Nismo racing spark plugs that's going in soon. I bought the plugs off eBay from Japan, it says it fits the VQ35HR ? How can you improve/upgrade the lower transmission mount ? I bought the grounding kit, it's a Stillen one.

 

Yep, you're right. The only thing I hate about the car is the fact the all the buttons and cluster is in Japanese, my radio and GPS doesn't work as well haha. However, I have the side camera, 2 front bumper cameras and the intelligent cruise control though .

 

Just wondering about headers, from I've seen on here. Most people says you gain very minimal power increase with it and better to save the money and buy something else. Is it true that you don't get much power gain from aftermarket headers, say Stillen or Z1 headers, etc. ?

The consensus is that you don't get a great $/hp return on headers. They are a pain in the butt to change, and are expensive.

 

What exhaust are available out there for our cars besides Stillen, Greddy, Fast Intentions, Invidia, Top Speed, etc. and I know it's personal preference but which exhaust sounds the best or what brand do you people have on your cars ?

Motordyne also makes an exhaust, as does Tanabe, HKS, GTHaus, Apex,i Magnaflow, and Borla.

Haha my bad, now that I've read what I just wrote,you're right. I was just typing and wasn't even paying attention lol. FI doesn't keep their exhaust in-stock, do they ? I sent an enquiry a couple months ago and they told me about it would take about 3-4 weeks to make the exhaust ?
