Exclamation Delayed Start When not started for a few days

I have a 2010 G37x Coupe that I bought used from a dealer about 3 months ago. Everything seems fine with the car except when I don't drive the car for a few days and then go to start it, it does not immediately start. I put my foot on the brake and then push the button - dash comes on but nothing. Repeat - usually 3rd or 4th time it starts. This only occurs when I leave the car sitting for at least 36 hours.

I took it in to the dealer and they changed the battery so I thought it was licked but alas it occurred again today. The dealer seems stumped - any thoughts would be most appreciated.

There is a TSB for battery issues of that year. Pull all TSBs and go back to the service department.

Sorry you are having trouble. I went through a similar issue and I agree with Darth Kinetic - there are known battery issues. The other thing they could maybe look into is the relay linked to the brake that lets the car know you want to start the engine versus just turning it "on". I had a problem that sounds similar and they had to replace the relay for my clutch. Also, I'm sure I'm using the wrong word for it, but I have yet to find out the real part name. Good luck with your issue and welcome to the forum.
