Potential New G owner
Potential New G owner
Hey guys, I already posted in a pretty heated debate but thought I should formally introduce myself. I am a huge car enthusiast usually in the Mitsubishi 3000GT community but have dabbled in many other car groups. For example my room mate has a MKIII Supra and a 350Z that I help him out on occasionally. For now I have a 2001 Acura CL-S and a 1991 3000GT VR4 with a few minor mods. I am starting to tentatively look for a lightly used G37S Sedan or Coupe (more likely the Sedan) in white with all the bells and whistles. I am buying my first house next year and its time to step the game up. I figured I should join the forum early to research on what to watch out for and start looking at what can be done to the cars. I'm already set on not keeping the car stock (thats silly) and know what I want Performance wise (HKS exhaust followed by a supercharger down the road) but wanted to see what people are doing with the cosmetics and suspension. I also can offer advice on some technical and performance questions if its needed.
I'm kinda doing the same thing by signing up here. I had a 98 3000GT SL years back (on 3SI.org) until her untimely demise. Went to a dropped Acura Vigor and currently in a Honda Accord, but have been reading up on this forum as I feel the G37XS coupe may be my next vehicle.

What makes you want AWD over RWD?
I went from dodge Neon srt-4 to G37s coupe 6m. I see you have older car models so be prepared to get spoiled. I have had my G for a month now and I love it, its awesome. I like the RWD and had an audi a4 awd it was a joke in FL.
