Eibach Pro Kit & Camber Question
Eibach Pro Kit & Camber Question
Hello People - Im the owner of a Slate Blue G37S 6MT - I love this car!
Now for the question: I just bought an Eibach Pro Kit and Eibach Camber Kit (front & rear). Can I install both kits at the same time and then go get an alignment?? Some folks say to install the springs first and get an alignment. Take the alignment numbers and use them when you install your camber kit so you can adjust accordingly...that really confuses me. Would you not have to get it realigned again? I only want to pay for an alignment one time here..
Please advise...
thanks!

Yep, just install the lowering springs at the same time as the F&R camber arms & rear toe kit then take it for the alignment. Be sure to wait a week or so for the springs to settle in before taking it to get aligned. Also be very careful driving it prior to the alignment, I'd keep the driving to a minimum, springs will settle just fine without driving it much.
Also it's best if you find a shop that aligns lowered vehicles on a more regular basis, shops that just deal w/ stock rides tend to have a tough time figuring out aftermarket camber setups

I am looking at either the Eibach or SPC Camber Kit, how is the Eibach Kit and do you recommend it?

Going to lower profile 20" tires combined w/ the firmer lowering springs will make for a rather dramatic change in ride quality. I like the firm ride and more connection to the road w/ 20s but you will sacrifice quite a bit of comfort.
Also when going w/ new wheels & tires be very careful w/ the new tire diameters. AWDs are particularly sensitive to a variance ffrom stock diameters. You can go w/ bigger wheels & wider tires but best to keep the diameters of your new set withion 1% of staock diameter. For specific tire & suspension questions please browse & post in this folder
