G37 reliability?

G37 reliability?

I've been in need of a second car for a few months now. I had a 97 SH Prelude, but that's gone now.

I was originally looking at 996 turbos. They can be found for around $40k these days. Amazing cars with bulletproof motors. Then I was looking at the Z4 35i. Now I'm realizing that I don't want to spend $40,000 for another car.

I've scaled my budget down to under $25,000. 08, 09, and 10 models can be found in the price range used, and they have everything I want. Luxury, navigation, rear camera, etc. How is the reliability on Infiniti cars with 40,000 miles?

My main car is an Evo X. 510/430 at the wheels

Badazz EVO.

My 08 has almost 90K. Bought it new and its been very reliable. Only issue I've had is clutch replacement at 60K.

'08 G37S 6MT; second owner; 92,000 miles (44K are mine); and 0 drive-train or mechanical problems...

However, I due* tend to go through the tires -- just can't seem to stay out of the throttle in those lower gears.
