New to the community (but been posting here a bit)
Thanks. I got it as CPO, so I'm inclined not to do any mods at least until the warrenty runs out. However, when it comes time for a brake job, I may possibly twist the service managers arm to see what they do about throwing on the non-awd sport brakes. (but again, this thing stops way shorter than anything I have ever driven before - and I've been a serial car owner for decades and decades)
Honestly, at this point I could not imagine wanting it to be any qiucker off the line or have any more top end on the highway, and I'm actually loving it's "undercover sports car" look. I'm a little south of middle age, so I'm very pleased to avoid red light challanges from every civic in town that sounds like a weedeater.
This "four door 370Z" is a real sleeper, and I am very thankful to have stumbled upon it and this community. A few years ago I had an E46 330i with facotry sport package (it came from the facotry uber-lowered, with staggered 40 series tires in the back), and I strongly feel this more sedate looking beauty is hands down the better performer.

If 50 is middle age then I'm not North or South of it, I'm dead on center, lol
I doubt any dealer will step up w/ the big Akebono brakes, that's some serious
coin (about $1500 just for the parts). Maybe they can get the parts for you at cost but still the install labor at the dealer will probably be another $400.
I never modded cars much prior to this G (it's our 2nd one) but I have a blast making it my own, now if it just wasn't having to wait a month to get my car un-Tboned
