So I just got a 2008 type S manual. The thing is bone stock. I had saved a good chunk of money for mods. BUT here is my question... If you could twin turbo this thing but thats all you can afford to do at this point would you???? or would you put the money into the rest of the mods (Coilovers, Exhaust, Intake, Rims Front Lip, IPL Side Skirts)
^+1 for 1st post. Your preference is really what you should go for... Some people like to just dress is up and make it look good, others would say go for power. Just keep in mind if you go with the TT you might have to change up some stuff you put in already. (i.e. intake). Also, I'd recommend getting a better brake set up (rotors and pads) to help stop that new power.
Yeah I am having a hard time with this one. I can dress it up and make it exactly how I want it to look or I can make it turbo which I have always wanted a turbo car. Not to mention this car would be fast as ****!!! Definitely would need a big brake set up. I don't have any mods yet. I decided against anything until I figure this out.... Leaning toward dressing it up and then saving more $ for the turbo kit. Show or Go that is the question I suppose... :/

Being that you just got the car I would go with the show for now, enjoy it while it lasts as you will be craving more power. Then as you said just go boost afterward... Nothing like having a pretty sick looking ride and the power to back it up...

Why not just buy half the kit and turbo just one bank of cylinders and use the other half of the money for the turbo kit to buy some sweet Rota Grids, plastidip your grille and OEM wheels, drill some holes in your intake box and remove your mufflers so it sounds awesome, cut your springs to slam it 3", and slap some neons underneath it and call it a day. Problem solved!
