Does anyone know how to make it so that i do not have to manually turn off the annoying orange compass on my rear-view mirror every time i get behind the wheel? I want to change the default to off --- i have no use for a compass -- this is 2012 and I drive in cities with plenty of road signs .. no need to get out the map and compass, nowadays

seems like there would be a combo of button holding to make the "default" setting "off" -- so that I would have to press the compass button to activate that annoying light -

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
