I had to sell my 2009 CTS FE3 that I factory ordered with everything 1 year after it was delivered. I am now looking for another car and was looking at a 2009 G37x sedan. I looked up the changes and think it might be better to go for a 2010 with the NAV changes and front bumper? I did see a post about the ride on the 2010 was softer and handled different? What is the general consenus on a 2009 or 2010? I am looking for a sedan and not an "S".

Well if you really want anx and have use for it, go for it. But when it comes to aftermarket parts you will be limited.

 

I believe the OP was debating between a 2009 and 2010 model, both with AWD packages...? I personally think the redesigned 2010 front with the fog lights look a lot better than the 2009's. I do like the back version of the 2009's better, however.

The 2010's have much higher resolution navi, an updated instrument gauge, (whether its better or not is subjective), and a couple other minor tweaks. Even without the navi, I decided to go with the 2010 for aesthetic purposes. But the 2009 still looks great as well! It's up to you.

 

Yes, my question was about 2009 to 2010, both X. I do like having all the toys and was very concerned about the dealer having to update the NAV. The more I look at the cars the more I like them but I have noticed the paint seems to chip very easily, not good when they throw so much gravel on the roads in winter. Did they make a change to the paint after 2009 for this?

 

I wish I had gotten a 2010 over a 2009...
