So I have made up my mind. I want a g37 coupe!

I found one in my area, in Central NJ. It is from a private party. It is a 2008 g37 coupe Sport with the sport package and the premium package. It has every option on it possible. It was listed for $28,000 and i got it down to 25,000 dollars.

Also, it has 2 owners, and 1 accident. The accident was a minor fender bender in the front. It does not have all wheel drive.

Is it a good deal? It has summer tires on it, so i would need to get all season tires on it for the winter.

Oh yeah, it has 25,700 miles on it.

 

You will need snows for the winter. Remember last year. All seasons won't cut it on a rwd car. I would stay away from that car, but that's me.

 

yes but it was only bad for a few of those days, and i wont really be driving for those days because my parents wont let me. my uncle who has a awd suv will be dropping me off and picking me up from college, which is 10 min away from my house. so all seasons will be fine.

What part of Central NJ? Im selling my G, its modified but very tastefully done if i may say so myself or i can put back to stock

 

Be careful saying it has every option on it. Most of the time, non-owners say that and the car does not. All you mention was sport and premium. Navigation, tech, aero, 4was?

Tech Package and 4WAS is very uncommon.

You can find cheaper, even at a dealership, especially if it has an accident on it. I would be looking for a 6MT at that price.

Take your time if you can, and you will be happy you did. Shop around outside your city as well as online. If you get the time, look around this thread for information that will benefit you and ask questions!

Is this a 6MT or 5AT??

At that price, there's no way he's going to sell that car. I purchased mine for about that, w/ less miles and the same year, and mines a 6MT sport with navi.


The best advice I can give you is to keep looking. Private parties...depending on their situation, usually want the car to move relatively quickly, so they're willing to let it go to get rid of their monthly payment, just trying to keep as little loss as possible onw hat they've already paid off.

2008 Infiniti G37S Sport Coupe, 25,500 miles, excellent condition, fully loaded with every option possible (premium, sport, and technology packages). Navigation, Rear Camera, Intelligent Cruise, Active HIDs, etc. 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza performance tires put on last month.

Also, it has 19 inch wheels and it does have the sport suspension.

BTW i dont really want a modded car because i found 2 g37s which were modded, was ready to buy them, but when i got them checked out by my dads mechanic, found both were raced. Not taking any more chances. I rather get it stock and mod it myself

 

By the way, my parents might drive the car to work so manual is a no. I will still be using the triptonic

Central jersey need awd or snows regardless. Else the car will be in the garage half the winter. With performance tires you will barely be able to drive in the rain.

 

you seem pretty dependent on your parents.... if they are the ones buying the car, what is the amount of money they are willing to spend? If it's 25k, neither of those cars are worth 25k. Put in a little effort beyond searching craigslist and find a G that is actually worth 25k and you will be much happier.

 

spend a few bucks more and get the 7AT 2009 g37....plenty are out there

 

the red g35 has 25k miles and is 16500 dollars.

And for the car, 20,000 is mine, and 5,000 is my parents. and they are paying for insurance, gas everything else.

Based on the prices in my area, it seems like that is a really good price for the car because i have been looking for 2 months and nowhere can i find a g for that cheap. cars.com, yahoo autos, craigslist, i tried mostly everything.

what do you think that car is worth? and how much do you think the red g35 is worth?
