Why hello thar! My story:

Picked up my '08 G37S coupe with everything except tech package a few weeks ago (28k miles). I'm dropping it off at the dealer Monday for warranty service for the following items:

Excessive wear on driver seat
Various interior rattles
Loud input shaft while shifting
2nd gear synchro is starting to go
Exhast rattle

I'm hoping they cover everything. If they say the tranny is messed up from abuse (previous owner), I plan to point out that the OEM ties have 4/32 left all around (unless they have already been replaced. not sure how to determine this, exactly)

Despite all the issues, I'll probably stay with Infiniti forever (assuming the dealer takes care of me). I love everything about the car. It's optioned right, powerful enough, and the right price.

Congrats and hope everything goes well with the dealer service dept. Ride looks good to start with. Are you planning on doing anything special with it? There are lots of ideas and examples here in the Forum. If you've been hanging out here a while you probably already know to use the search feature.

That LP is a popular color and should look clean when your friend brings her camera. Hopefully the PO took decent care of it (except for the things your in the shop for). Anyway, welcome to the Forum and enjoy the ride!

 

Tranny stuff and wear on the drivers seat seem like kind of strange items to try and get warrantied, but I hope they hook you up! Welcome from a fellow noob.
