New in Socal

What's up everybody. I just picked up an 08 Journey coupe for my wife and wanted to introduce myself. I've been reading the forum and there is tons of usefull information here...thanks. This is my first G but I have a few friends that own G35's...we trade in an 04 525i that was starting to have some issues. After doing a little research, I just ordered the Hypertech programmer yesterday, and I can't wait or it to get here. Looking forward to chatting with everybody.

Todd

Thanks for the welcome guys. As of right now, I eventually plan on getting a tint, intake, hfc, and whatever other mods catch my eye....only problem is that I just bought a Jeep Wrangler and will have to split cash between this and the Jeep. I already chose the hypertech over a winch for the Jeep haha. I have to keep in mind that this is my wife's daily driver and not my personal car but I do want to make it faster and look better. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the comments and tips everybody....I actually was thinking about buying a G for myself before I got the Wrangler. Now I have the best of both worlds haha.

On a sad note, some idiot already dinged and scratched our G with their car door in the parking lot. I guess I have bad luck.

Man, what a bummer. You gotta learn to park miles from anyone else. Congrats on the nice rides! You'll have a great time modding them.

Curious why you decided to pick up the Hypertech as very first mod? Have you searched threads here about pros & cons for the Hypertech? Just curious.

I was going to get an intake, but after a little research I decided to go with the Hypertech because I can take it off when I need to and because it can turn off the 0-60 throttle restriction. I'll probably do an intake next. Im trying to decide between Stillen gen 3 and R2c.
