Just bought my G :)

Hey guys, I picked up my Black Obsidian 08 MT G37s on Friday, then today we got hit by our winter mix and THAT was an interesting drive home for sure... but I made it back with no issues

My first two cars were Civics so this is quite a change from that obviously, and so far it's been a fun time (already need more gas lol)... definitely love that torque

Anyways, the past 3 days I've been lurking around the site seeing what to do with it first and I'm just gonna have to contain myself and not get the modbug right away and hopefully I'll be able to just adapt to the newfound power haha... no pics yet though, it's real dirty from the salt and I need to buy my friend's camera later this week anyways.

Funny story though, when I came back to the dealer with some extra stuff for the Civic, he told me that the day after I bought it a guy came in there all excited about finally purchasing his dream car and then was told that it was gone already ...well it was my dream car too so I can't feel bad for the guy lol

edit: although I do have a crappy phone pic taken from the warmth of my house lol

Congrats and welcome. All I can say is start saving your pennies or stop reading threads on here LOL! I thought I would be happy for at least a year when I bough my 08 G37S 5AT last spring. Wrong! I am now in for a tranny cooler, SC and cat back exhaust. The install is not even complete yet and I am already looking at suspension mods! Modding is a viral disease!!!!

In all seriousness, welcome and enjoy the ride my friend!

I'm well aware of how much the mod bug bites haha... but I have to resist for now, at least until I get a new job.

And Deeman, I'm near Ft Meade, if you know where that is. And I only glanced at the tires but somehow I remembered that they're Potenza RE050's now if only I could remember stuff I glance at for college.......

Alright I've been stalking this forum for a couple hours more and I think I'm gonna start looking into coilovers. It seems Tanabe's are good, and 370Z coils will work so I looked at the Stance GR+ that seem to be getting good praise, and KW also gets pretty high praise. What a wide range of prices to start with lol......... but I'll figure that out later. What I'm wondering is who makes good camber arms for our cars? I've been lurking the suspension forums but none of them seem to be reviews for arms. I'm sure they're pretty much all the same, but does anyone have any preference? Or at least which ones to stay away from totally?

Welcome! Keep that OB clean. No quick car washes or shady parking lots for you!
