ready to Lease - decisions on color....

I'm ready to turn in my 2007 M35 and swap it out for a 2010 G37. Yes, I realize its smaller, but the M was a boat, and I'll never get the lease pricing I had.

I've decided to go with a 2010 G37x Sport. I'm in Buffalo, and the AWD is key for me. I dig the lines on the sport, and its got every package but upgraded tech.

My only decision is - Slate Blue or Platinum (Silver?)

my M was black, and it was constantly FILTHY. It showed everything! How do you folks feel about you Slate Blue? Is it still a pretty dirty color? i'm in buffalo - so its snowy, crappy weather much of the year with salt, etc on the road.

Which color do you like better - which shows the lines better - stays cleaner, etc.

I'm at a loss because I like both colors quite a bit... Also note I'm going to tint out the windows.

Any input or feedback would be great.

thanks!

the Blue Slate is a dark color, it will show dirt, Liquid Platinum would be better.

IMO LP looks better than Blue Slate.

as far as your AWD and sport concerns, how much of a rush are you in to get a new car? 2011 coupes are coming both AWD and Sport.....if thats something you'd be interested in, extending the lease would be a good option

Thanks for the reply. i was torn between the two, but ended up getting the Platinum today after seeing how crappy my black M35 looks when it gets a little dirty.

I got the sedan. Worked a great lease deal.
Thanks for your response!

I'm also in Buffalo. I've owned gray/silver cars for the last 1/2 decade and they're great for our salt in winter and dirt in summer. You can't go wrong with silver. It also allows all of the lines of the car to be seen better than a dark car.

Hopefully soon I can find my 2009 G37XS sedan for less than $30,000. Until then... enjoy the ride Perhaps I'll see you around. I'm out in Amherst by Sheridan and Transit. Right now I'm in a silver mazdaspeed 6.

Good decision to go with a light color, it shows off the body lines so much better, especially in low light.
