Buying new G37 Coupe. Body kit question?

Hello all,

I'm brand new to the forum, and there is a ton of great info in this place! I wanted to hear your input on a dilemma I've been facing. Here is the G37 I've priced out:

2010 G37 Coupe Journey Navigation Package
(Graphite Shadow / Stone Leather)
- illuminated kick plates
- rear spoiler
- splash guards
- midnight black grille

I'm debating whether I should get the optional 5-piece body kit that Infiniti offers, which, I've been told is the same kit that is on the Anniversary Edition, and will run an extra $3,600.00. That's a lot of money, especially when I see a kit like this forum member's (Wicked_limitz) in the link below.

MyG37 - Wicked_limitz's Album: candy - Picture

It looks GREAT, but I'm new to car mods (even though I'm in my early-30's), and have absolutely no idea how much a kit like that would cost after parts, paint, and labor. Which one, between the factory installed kit, and an aftermarket kit like the one above, is the better value?

I'm planning on buying the car this week. Should I:

A) Buy the car with the Infiniti 5-piece body kit, with all the accessories I listed above?

B) Buy the car with only the accessories listed above, and use the extra money on an aftermarket kit that looks like Wicked_limitz's?

C) Wait for the 2011 coming out in a few weeks? (I just threw this option in there, since they're revising the grille, headlights, and front bumper)

Thanks in advance for your help, folks!

You're not crazy. He doesn't have any body kit on the car whatsoever

if the OP likes the "bodykit" on that car, i suggest to him/her to just get a g37S and be done with it!

THIS. the G37S (coupe) is as sexy as it gets (OEM that is). throw a few easy mods on it and you've got one awesome looking car

Take the $3,600 and drop the car with some new rims. It will look much better than that factory kit.
