they installed my new tranny and fixed dash and replaced front brakes one day it was done

Once they diagnose the problem, they'll let you know when the tranny arrives. They should give you a loan vehicle for the day, and as stated above, it's a 1 day job.

most of the stuff that you mentioned about the gears sounds normal to me with my g35. I'm not sure if its the same sound but when first warm up my car and drive off i hear a whining sound, but goes away after a while.. but only happens when the windows are up i believe.
