Smile g37x noob questions

Hi all,
Been lurking for past month before getting my ride. luv all the good info, you guys are great! Just had a few questions:

1) Anybody have experience w/ the Viper alarm/remote start on the 2010 model. My car got keyed/scratched same night I got it ( was devastated) so wanted to get the field disturbance sensor that the system offers. Would this affect the warranty at all? Does it fxn w/ OEM fob?

2) Wanted to get some tints, state limit is 35% all around, so was wondering if anyone has BO g37x with this. Also what brand would you get F1/HO (any other recommendations)?

3) Would you use touch up paint for the key marks? I can barely feel them w/ my fingers so I pray it's just the clear coat. Might try to see if the dealer can buff them out, but wanted to know before I go just in case I need to pick some up.

Thanks in advance!

It's probably in the right section, but nobody has the answers you're looking for.
As for the window tint, 35% is a little light for my liking, but anything darker than that on the front door windows is illegal in most states, so it's up to you. 35% is better than 0 lol.

I might be able to answer #3. I had a mild scratch in my car about two months ago. Not as deep as being keyed but I could feel it with my fingernail. In about 4 days it did clear completly, and this was in winter tempratures. A mild winter here, but it still was at freezing outside, and maybe 55 degrees inside of my garage (insulated but not heated in the garage, the car would read about 55 when I'd start it up anyway). So, what you could do is give the car a few days to see if the scratches are "healing" then go to a detailer or dealer to have them buffed out.

I can't answer #1 or #2, I don't have an aftermarket alarm just the stock one and I haven't tinted my windows.

1) I have heard great things about the Viper system but have no personal experience. You can get it to work with OEM fob, some have, others like the extra fob. I dont think it will have any effect on the warranty. That SUCKS to hear about BTW

2)Mine is OB w/ 20%, you can look @ my album and try to guage it from there (it will be significantly lighter than mine). As far as brand, I'm not sure which is the best to go with

3)You can try using a fairly aggressive compound as long as those scratches arent super deep. If you can barely feel them I doubt they're too deep to recover. I wouldn't use touch up unless you can see the metal.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it then I would have someone BESIDES the dealer do it. Most dealers will make things worse on the paint before making them better.

Go to detailedimage.com and the "ask a pro" section. they'll help you out with everything you need
