Need Help!

I am going to be purchasing my G tomorrow. I had the dealer send me a Carfax report (purchasing used) and it states that the car is:

"2008 INFINITI G37/JOURNEY/SPORT"

I was under the assumption I was buying a G37s as it has the S badge and all the options of an S. After looking at the 2008 brochure, I am not sure if I am buying an S, or a Journey with the Sport Package. Can any of you clarify this for me before I pick her up? Getting a smoking deal on it so I want to be 100% certain before I drive down to Cali.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Ask the dealer if it's a manual or not. But that sounds like an AT, if they mention Journey/Sport , not just Sport (6MT)

It's a 6mt. It's a wholesale dealer so he doesn't know the specifics too well. It might be a general description from CarFax, but seeing Jpurney on there was a red flag for me.

Has the 19'S, 4 piston front calipers, sport bumper, suspension, etc which would define it as a G37s I would assume.

Yep, sounds right then since it's 6mt, not sure why the carfax would list it as Journey/Sport

The 6mt is default offering for the sport model, but they automatics have a sport option (sport suspension, 19 inch wheels, unique front fascia, and S badging)
