Hey im new 2 this and can some one give me some feedbacks plz
hey everyone im new to this site and at the moment i dont have a G im planning on getting one.Ive done some research and found out the 2010 models have some minor upgrades and ive also found out that in 2012 infiniti will be redesigning the G (Grill, headlights, tail lights etc.) does anyone know if that is true???
this might sound crazy but if it is i might just wait til 2012 lol....
i dont want to have to jump on an 2010 and then when the G in 2012 comesout it makes u wana trade it in lol .... so if u guys would give me some feedback on this situation it would greatly be appreciated

There are always going to be new cars coming out. If you wait you will be constantly waiting for something better. Just get one now, be happy, and enjoy it. Plus, if you wait until 2012 you might only be able to enjoy your car for a year before the end of the world

LOL on the end of the world comment, only thing I expect to have to do in 2012 that's even close to the end of the world is renew my driver's license.
But yes, I agree on the "why wait" comment. Okay, let's say you wait until 2012. (And 2012 is the year they do a new generation of G cars, or at least a major revamp of this one). In whatever amount of time, 4 years let's say a new generation after THAT will be out. Do you then say "Hey..um...in 4 years my car will be obsolete..better wait for 2016 now!". I'm just throwing numbers out there, but figure with anything involved with technology, the minute you bring it home it's "obsolete" if you want to look at it that way. Might as well get what you want or need now, so you can enjoy it now.
Anyway, at least for me if 2012 is the next generation of car, I suspect I'll still be enjoying my G37x now. When I am ready to trade in my G37x, then I'll see what the G cars have then and go from there. But, I bet it will be a good 4 to 6 years before I'd even want to trade in mine at all.

Doo it! Buy what you like NOW. No point waiting because if you keep waiting for the next best thing you're going to be waiting forever. And like dt22cc said, if you wait too long the world will end!
Because every year or every other year they will be doing some upgrade, some minor, some major. That and let's say I had a 2004 G35. Okay, 2006 they do a notable upgrade. Well fine, but 2008 is the G37. Should a guy with a 2006 G35 be upset that the G37's came out? Again at what point do you just say "Hey, I'll enjoy what I have now and not worry about an upgrade until I NEED a new car"?At least it's not like computer parts, where every six months (or less!) the "next big thing" is out and one or more parts of your home PC is outdated. But even then, IMO better to buy when you want to then live on their schedule, since all you do is end up constantly regretting that your system is "outdated" in a few months (in the case of a computer) or in a few years (in the case of a car) anyway.
But then again, I average between 4 to 6 years on trade ins. Only time I did less was the one and only time I ever leased instead of buying, the lease was only 3 years.
/agree when it comes to the current Acura TL at least. And I like Acura's overall, I had an '89 Integra way back when and my trade in for my 2009 G37x was a 2003 Acura CL type S. But...wow...what the hell where they smoking, drinking or snorting when they designed this generation of Acura TL's?
Unless you're completely enamored by the looks of a specific model you want to buy a car that's a good deal. If you can get a good deal on a 2010 (doubtful), then do it. You wanna wait until 2012 to get a good deal, do it. It's your call. But in the end, most people bite on a purchase because they feel it's a good deal to them.
You must have bad buyers remorse? Hell, I just got my 2008 G and I love it why not buy a used 2008 or 2009 that way you save yourself some cash and when the 2012 comes around you could buy that new?
