I just talked to the GM of the dealer and he was very apolgeitc, For himself the dealer and the manager, I was an honest mistake and was not done in malice.. They have been applogizing since Friday. They offer the meet us half way but thats out of the question, The deal was at that price a week ago and we said no, So that would'nt change.. I'm having them tow my car back to my house and I will still sell it, Privatly maybe or fix the clutch and drive it.. It's was just a lttle weird that they went though all the trouble and then all of a sudden before we sign there was a huge issue with the payoff.. ? So I guess no I wont get it and probally wont get one till next year or so when my lease is up.. Maybe then they will have a S coupe X..

Good that as of now it's more or less working out.

And yeah, it is still very weird that they worked it all out and then had the issue with the payoff, one reason why I was so adamant that it was a scam in my last post, but it sounds like it might not be now.

Anyway, hope it works out. If you have the patience to sell the Eclipse, doing it that way will probably get you a tiny bit more money. Could also fix the clutch, but sell instead of drive it too? Or see if they would give you more then the cost of the repairs if you tried a trade in again, if you now trust the dealer (and know they won't make the same mistake twice. ).
