Thanks for the warm welcome

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I post my first topic and I get jumped on and the moderator shuts the thread so I can't even ask a simple follow up valid question.

This is my first sports car and I do not know much about car performance. I guess I thought there would be people here who enjoyed someone excited about the car we have in common and trying to educate himself.

Don't worry about another post, other forums will be much more user friendly.

Geoff

Geoff,

Your initial thread was closed because your asking a "How do I make my car really fast?" question without having read any of the wealth of information already here on the forum was only going to be met with sarcasm and riddicule and tons of posts telling you to search before posting questions that are redundant and that have been answered numerous times. I hope that you stay and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and experience here. As I stated before, you should search for answers that are already posted here and read the stickies in the appropriate forums that will have a lot of the info that you are seeking. My response wasn't intended to hurt your feelings.

Wow....I'm sorry your internet feelings are hurt, but dude.....if you've been reading this forum enough like most people did (including myself) before joining, you'd KNOW that people yell "SEARCH!" all of the time. You asked one of the most commonly discussed questions on this forum....there is thread upon thread of dynos, reviews, pictures, vendors, etc.....all you had to do was look around. Simple. But if you're going to be such a drama queen about all of this, then I'm sorry, but see ya later.

That goes for a lot of forums, not just the forum here. It's common sense, or at least it should be, to search first. So you made the mistake of not searching first Geoff, you don't have to get all hurt and basically say you're not coming back like a lil' b!tch, take the heat, don't make the mistake again, and move on.
