I'm interested in an Infiniti G37 but i'm leaning away from it because it's very inconvenient for me to do maintenance due to the dealerships distance.

Does anyone know if you can service Infiniti cars at Nissan dealerships because the Nissan dealers is much closer?

Yes, you can get a Nissan dealer to service your Infiniti. They won't, however, do any warranty work. That MUST be done at an Infiniti dealer. Hope you join our family soon!

So simple oil service 1, etc. stuff like that would be good. What exactly is "warranty" work? A transmission failure?

Warranty work = replacement of a part and associated labor that will be covered by Infiniti under the warranty period. This includes simple things like reprogramming the ECU or TCU as per a TSB to a more complex engine problem repair.

Technically you can take your car anywhere for basic maintenance like oil changes - just keep the receipts.
