Another new guy
Hey there everybody. I'm new to this forum, but I've been surfing it for the past few days. I've been drooling over the G37 for the past few weeks and have decided that one belongs in my garage. I've been in touch with my local Infiniti dealer and there's a 2009 G37 Journey Coupe in Platinum Graphite with Prem/Nav/Sport pkgs that's currently on a truck on the way to my hometown. Needless to say, I've taken the opportunity to put a deposit on it, and I'm planning on test driving it this week (at least that's when it's supposed to arrive). If it meets the awesome expectations I already have, I'm pretty sure I'll be driving it home.
So, I guess I just wanted to ask if there's any advice the users here have about the car in general, purchasing, etc. I've gotta say I've been thinking about this car so much, I think I might be obsessing ha ha.....Anyways, I look forward to sticking around on here in the future....everyone seems really cool from the posts I've read. As soon as I pull the trigger and sign the papers, I'll be posting some pics of the new car as soon as possible. Here's to singlehandedly helping end the recession!! Cheers!

Hey man! I've read some of your posts before and saw you're in Knoxville. Did you get your G at Harper on Kingston Pike? If so, do you like the staff there? How well did they negotiate on price? I can't tell you how freakin pumped I am about this car.....Christmas may come early this year.
Yea... I got mine from there... they went to Indianapolis to get my car... I got my car around this time last year... If you will talk to Joe Gooden and tell him Ben sent you there... he will know that you know they will work a great deal... so go see Joe and he will hook up and and get you flyin high in a new g37....

If things go my way this week.....we'll raise that number to 5! By the way, the guy I've been talking to is Patrick Barker. He seems really cool and laid back...I appreciate that in a car salesman, but I'll definitely drop your name and tell Joe you sent me. Hopefully I'll snag a good deal. Patrick told me these are the very first 2009's that are coming to Harper and that I could have the first one in Knoxville. I think he might be as excited about this as me. Maybe they have a bet to see who can sell the first 2009 off of the lot? LOL.

Oh and I wanted to ask....what are the thoughts on the new Clear Bras people are putting on their G's? Is there anywhere in Knoxville that sells/applies them? Are they a good idea? The idea seems genius. I just don't know that I want a seam on my hood since it only comes up 1/4 of the way.....thoughts?
