New Member/Possible G37-6MT buyer
Hi Guys, New Member Here!
Was out this weekend test driving, possible purchase of a G37-6MT.
I'm a C6 Vette owner (which I'm not replacing) Generally I only drive the vette on the weekends and plan to use the G37 for an everyday driver. I'm also a corvetteforum.com member.
Will be interested in some feed back from you 08 G37-6MT owners if you don't mind. Since I'm new to Infiniti I've found drivers to be the best source of real data.
Thanks.
Mikey

Man if I had a C6 stick, I'd be buying a 7AT auto G37S. The auto is smooth as silk in D offering a nice luxury contrast to your C6 without all the effort for a daily driver. Manual mode is there if you want to have fun as well.

It's a good compliment to the vette. Hoping for a hp bump and a few other upgrades on '10 Z06. Check that vette forum about every other day.
We just purchased G37S 5AT with all but Tech and AWD. Not a vette, but a lot of fun to drive. Seems tight and fairly nimble. High quality interior and a great nav. system. Red lines about at Z06 level.
You can get a great deal on an '08 right now.
Good luck.

I was very impressed with my test drive. Very tight, great feel for the road. No body roll like the BMW. I think there are a load of C6 owners that have G35 G37 as daily drivers. I was very impressed with the overall quality of interior as well as paint. Course since I've been reading here for a few hours I guess everyone is not overly impressed with the paint. Most of us Vette owners have been bitching about "Orange Peel" for years.
My big question, (since I don't have the corvetteforum to fall back on is PRICING. What Discount level (given .9% money) is good?
I was able to get the dealer down 4K or so. So far that is. (Grin)
Any input at all on 6MT / Nav / Spoiler / would be helpful.

HI Mikey,
I'm in the middle of negotiations right now. If you're in the US things are different than here especially with how the car is packaged. The one I'm looking at has the technology pachage, and unlike in the states, EVERYTHING is in that package. I've compares US and CDN sites and you have to build the US version with EVERY bell and whistle option there is to get the same features. That being said, I know the sales manager quite well and although I can't tell you the pricing as we were working from a payment perspective, if you build the car online it coes to $947 for a 36 month term. this is for a lease and at 1.9%. He is a good friend and flat out told me he's left it with $1000 gross in the car, but he'll thros in matts, and the clean 3m bra thing etc and my price would be $725 all in. If you know how to work those numbers backwards you would get the numbers you want I assume! up here the car would list at $53,990 plus Freight and PDI, and 13% tax.Takes it to $63251 ALL IN. If I take the difference of the LIST pricing online at 1.9% and what he is doing for me its $221.47 a month less. OVer 36 months thats $7972.92 savings. Granted there is the 1.9 interest in there over the 30 months. Not sure how to work that back to egt the TRUE pre interest savings but I'm sure it's around 7k. Hope that helps at least a LITTLE. Remember from there he said there is still about 1k gross in the car.

What is the total price they gave you + what is all the features you asked for... Tell me these 2 and then I will let you know if it is a good deal.
