New In Boston Ma....

Whats going on my fellow G37 owners? Check this out, I am looking for a second car that good on gas compared to my 211 E55 AMG beast I have now. I've been looking at the G37, Lexus IS, BMW 335 coupe and C350. I test drive them all but not the way I wanted to. I was thinking about test driving the G37 again and see what it can do. i know this is a "G" forum so I know everyone will support them only, but my question is what is so good about them. I've never owned Infiniti. I just know the G37 looks Hott on the streets.

Where can i get good deals?

are mods cheaps?

Thanks

They are already a good deal as-is! But ive heard of people getting very close to invoice if not at invoice in the buying and leasing section of the forum. you should check that out too.

The mods are definitely not cheap! but that goes along with any expensive car. N/A mods do very little for our VQ engines.

and welcome to the boards! good luck on your decision

There may not be as many there due to the winter months. I worked out in central MA in Worcester for 10 months last year. Compared to the Chicago winter months MA got it worse. I dove my G with the sport package tires during the end of the winter time and if there is any snow or ice on the road it truely can become a hazard as the rubber doesn't grip well at all. I read some people get snow tires, but I would rather get a beater. I have a Saturn sl2 4 door sedan for this winter. That was driving in Chicago, I had rentals in MA. I would think that driving in MA especially in Worcester would be horrible as there are many hills and old curvy roads. Also roads in MA seemed to be tighter/condensed then compared to Chicago suburbs. Imagine being on an incline with the summer tires during the dead of winter. You may crap a brick in short order.

My opinion, get a beater for the winter months. My sl2 in perfect working order was only $1400(cheaper then a set of snow tires)

If you are looking for something that is good on gas, I would get a Evo or an Sti. AWD + 4cyl turbo.

Yeah, the motorsports shops are far and limited in the area (that I know of). Besides two BMW shops (Bavarian Motorsports and Turner Motorsports) I don't really know of any for Japanese cars. Anyone wanna chime in?
