Hey guys (and gals) just picked up a new G37S IP with premium and sport package (didn't like the 6 speed). Got everything but Nav (what idiot made it so you can't change stuff while driving???) so I skipped that too. Looked at the M3's as well (buddy has one) and this thing is faster than his M3! Plus it's much nicer and hopefully not a nightmare to maintain (like the M). Love the smart key, the iPod and the list goes on....

Hello

Congrats on your G37S purchase. I didn't opted for the Nav as well as where I'm from they included the Nav with the 4 wheel steering and rear view cam features.

I wasn't too crazy about the 4 wheel steering system so I passed on the package.

Not that I would not be greatful and happy with that statement you made about our car [G37S] being faster than an M3 but are you sure?

Last I looked ours went from 0-60 in about 5.2-5.4 sec. where the 335i was about 4.8 to flat 5.0 [according to most magazine reviews]

So I'm thinking the M3 would go much faster than 4.8 likely about mid to low 4secs. from 0-60 which is a far cry from our 5.2sec launch.

Although, I did leave a 330ci in the dust a few days ago and I wasn't even flooring it. The nerve, trying to keep up with 230hp

Welcome & congrats That adds you on to the millions of IP's already.

Not to sure that it's faster than an M3, but definitely more stylish.

M3 has 3 more HP. I'm at 5000' and at this altitude a N/A engine feels it. The G has more torque which is what gets you moving. The 335 may be faster up here since it's turbo (takes out the altitude diff. for the most part) but it's way overpriced, the interior is bare bones I think too.

Anyway, his M is an 05 (I think, may be 04) and he got stomped.

Another IP? Is that the most popular color? I figured the grey would be, I swear they have like 3 shades of grey which all look about the same unless they're next to each other...anyway, I just wish my damn black w/chrome lip 22's would fit...pulled them off my 07 Range and they're 5x120 and our cars are 5x114 I guess....bummer!

Atleast like 70% of members on here have IP, and counting so get used to it lol

Yes, blue slate has numerous different shade colors, but it looks sick!
