Not thrilled about this design, but I don't hate it. I could see buying one if the interior was nice and it had some bad *** engine and chassis specs.
stop posting artist renderings
i can go draw a supra at artpad.com that might end up closer to the real thing. theres only a few billion of these renderings flying around by artist that has nothing to do with toyota

^^ The bit of japanese I can read seems to state that the new Supra will be in direct competition to the 350Z platform.
Now that Japan has revamped their emissions laws and manufacturers have sunsetted all the legendary engines and the cars that it powered, (i.e. Supra, RX-7, Silvia, R34 GT-R, etc.) I'm not sure if the new Supra will have the same DNA as the old. However, they have some interesting engine choices. The 3.5l 6-cylinder they are using on the Lexus IS/GS platform and the 4.5l V8 on their higher end GS/LS/SC platforms. The V8 could probably be tweaked to produce mid 300s to possibly 400hp NA. That would be interesting and would force a response from Nissan such as the rumored 450Z I have heard about earlier in the year. A new Z platform using a tweaked VK45 engine to produce over 400hp. I dream of a G45 coupe!!!
